There was always linen on the table.
At Christmas time, in my grandmother's tiny country kitchen, it was my job to fold napkins into lotus flowers ready to adorn the table. I still have her napkins today.
Story Cloth Napery was born from that inheritance. Each embroidered phrase is crafted from an adaptation of my mum's and my grandma's handwriting.
These women loved story. They were the original connectors - of people, of love, of sharing.
